Mae Belle Faircloth
Mae Belle Faircloth, 74, longtime Moses Lake resident, passed away Sunday at her home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Grape Drive Chapel, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with Bishop Chris Hyer presiding.
Family will greet friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. Inurnment will be at a later date at Athena Cemetery, Athena, Ore.
Arrangements are in care of Kayser's Chapel and Crematory, Moses Lake.
Mae was born May 20, 1931 in Pierre, S.D., daughter of the late Glen and Claribel (Broneman) Harris.
As a young girl, the family moved to Athena, Ore. where she attended her early years of school. The family later returned to Pierre where Mae graduated from high school.
Mae moved to Moses Lake in 1970 and has lived here since.
She had retired from Nestle Company after twenty-two years.
She enjoyed crafts and oil painting and loved to watch Ross on television as he painted her favorite mountain scenes. She also enjoyed gardening, especially her rose bushes.
Her passion was the love she gave to her family and friends.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved to visit the Temple.
She is survived by her children: Susan Simons, Debbie Dunning, Cheryle Bacon, Jeff Faircloth, Melody Faircloth and Bryan Faircloth; brother and sisters, Glenda McGillis, Linda Seltje and Don Harris; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
One son, Edgar Faircloth; one sister, Janet Jeffries; and one brother, Harold Harris, preceded her in death.
Mae will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
