Noemi Montemayor Moncada

Noemi "Lupina" Montemayor Moncada passed on Sunday and will be awaiting Jehovah God's resurrection into paradise.

Lupina was born December 12, 1940 in Crystal City, Texas to Noe and Josefina Montemayor. She lived at home all her teenage life, helping her mother with chores and her younger siblings.

In 1958 she met and married her beloved husband Juan Moncada Jr. in Crystal City, Texas. She traveled by and forth to Washington and Texas with her family, and in 1968, she and her family made Moses Lake their home.

She enjoyed spending time at home with her flower gardens, shopping with her sisters and daughters, doing service work and attending meetings at the Kingdom Hall with the Jehovah Witnesses.

Noemi "Lupina" is survived by her father, Noe Montemayor of Tacoma; two daughters: Alejandra and Gabiel Portugal of Pasco and Adriana Moncada of Moses Lake; four sons: Juan Jose and Antonia Moncada, Javier and Jouita Moncada, David and Tonya Moncada and Estavan Moncada, all of Moses Lake; two brothers: Noe Montemayor, Jr. of Raleigh, N.C. and Andres "Avelino" and Elida Montemayor of Moses Lake; six sisters: Prisilla Marraquin of Quincy, Flora and Noe Garcia of Tacoma, Nora and Allen Mowalt of Helena, Mont., Sonia Montemayor of Othello, Sandra and Ben Saldnas of Del Rio, Texas and Liza and Alena Villalobos of McAllen, Texas.

Lupina was preceded in death by her loving mother, Josefina "Pepa" Patino Montemayor, and husband, Juan Moncada, Jr.

"Ama eres mu especial, te amamos y siempre nos acordaremos de ti y te dedicamos tu cancion solamente una vez." You were always there for us mom. We will miss you.
