NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CHANGE/TRANSFER OF WATER RIGHT UNDER ONE (1) GROUND WATER CERTIFICATE

TAKE NOTICE:

That Maier's Enterprises, LLC of Moses Lake, Washington has made application for change/transfer a portion of the right, add a point of withdrawal & change a portion of the purpose and place of use as granted under Superseding Ground Water Certificate No. G3-01508C (A).

That Certificate No. G3-01508C (A) authorizes the withdrawal of 655 gallons per minute, 256 acre-feet per year, each year, for the seasonal irrigation of 80 acres.

That the present point of withdrawal is from one (1) well, authorized within the SE1/4NW1/4 of Sec.25, T. 19 N., R. 23 E.W.M.

That the present place of use is authorized as follows: 80 acres within a pivot within the NW1/4 of Sec. 25, T. 19 N., R. 23 E.W.M.

That they propose to add one (1) well to be located within the SE1/4SE1/4 of Sec. 8, T. 20 N., R. 28 E.W.M.

That they propose to change the purpose of use of 500 gpm, 240-acre feet per year to effluent managment (irrigation).

That they propose to changing 75 acres to be located within the E1/2E1/2SW1/4, N1/2SE1/4 and SE1/4SE1/4 of Sec. 8, T. 20 N., R. 28 E.W.M. 155 gpm, 16 acre feet per year, for the seasonal irrigation of five (5) acres will remain in the existing place of use.

Protests or objections to approval of this application must include a detailed statement of the basis for objections; protests must be accompanied by a two dollar ($2.00) recording fee and filed with the Department of Ecology, at the address shown below, within thirty (30) days from 7/15/05.
