Onnalie (Betty) Hill

Onnalie (Betty) Hill, 80, of Moses Lake passed away Sunday at Sacred Heart Hospital.

Betty married Floyd (Tick) Hill on September 1, 1947 in Okanogan, Wash. Tick worked heavy construction and Tick and Betty lived and worked in several Washington communities prior to settling in Moses Lake. In 1975, Tick and Betty retired and moved to Loomis, Wash. (Tick's birth place) where they enjoyed fishing and the mountains. After Tick's death, in 2003, Betty moved back to Moses Lake to be close to her friends and family. Betty was a homemaker and a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she will be greatly missed.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Floy Mathews and son-in-law David; siblings Jack Graves and Sonny Graves; grandchildren: David and wife, Cari Mathews and Bruce and wife, Michelle Mathews; great-grandchildren: Amanda Mathews, Michael Mathews, Mason Mathews, Chase Mathews and Alyssa Mathews.

Betty was preceded is death by her husband Floyd (Tick) Hill, son Bruce Hill, infant daughter Diane, twin sister Rose and parents John and Ella Graves.

At Betty's request, no services will be held. The family will gather at a later date for graveside service in Loomis, Wash.
