Robert Myles MacDonald

Robert Myles MacDonald, 67, passed away on July 1 at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, Wash.

He was born Aug. 31, 1938 in Tacoma, Wash.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Miles and Mildred MacDonald.

He was the second oldest of two children.

Robert completed high school at Auburn High in Auburn, Wash. He attended Seattle Community College and Columbia Basin College where he studied algebra.

Robert served in the U.S. Navy from 1961 to 1965. He held the rank of E-4 and worked as a baker.

After retiring from the Baker's Union, Robert work in the mines for ten years. He enjoyed mining, gardening, watching the Mariners baseball team and socializing with friends.

Robert is survived by his wife, Martha; sister, Charlene; three daughters, Daun Marie, Martha and Daniella; two sons, Jose and Rick; three nieces and one nephew.

Memorial services will be held at the Grace Harvest Church, 313 Fig Street, Moses Lake, at 4 p.m. Sunday.

Robert will be remembered by many of his friends for his love for baking and cake decorating, and especially for making special treats for his friends. He leaves behind many dear friends and family that will never forget him as a loving husband, father, brother and friend.
