Joel William Frank

| July 8, 2005 9:00 PM

Joel William Frank, 48, longtime Moses Lake resident, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2005 in Moses Lake, WA. The family invites you to their home on Saturday, July 9th from 2 - 5 p.m. at 553 Castle Drive, Moses Lake. The family requests no flowers, gifts or donations. Cremation arrangements are in care of Kayser's Chapel & Crematory, Moses Lake.

Joel is the beloved son of Bill and Joan Frank, who care so deeply for him and their entire family.

Joel is survived also by his brother and sister-in-law Doug and Karen, and sisters and brothers-in-law Colleen & Ron Roth and Sheila & Pete Wells. His extended family of uncles and aunts, nephews and nieces, friends and acquaintances loved him for who he was - a simple man who did not know what meanness is; his loud and raucous laugh with that great rosy-cheeked smile; sympathetic for those caught in situations difficult to get out of; intolerant of those who used their circumstances selfishly, or to hurt others.

Joel's presence in the room was never a secret. He would sometimes stand in a pose as if to say, "Here I am," then give a devilish look to let you know he's playing around. He spoke of reality and truth, defining it through his sensitivity toward others, his humor, and his lack of materialistic wishes for himself. He loved his flip-flops, sports, and cards.

Joel gave himself to others in a genuine way, and therefore is loved by many. He was a big man with a bigger heart.
