E.C. Craver
January 19th, a beautiful day in Royal City.
The sun broke through as the birds gloriously sang for the Grand Arrival of E.C. Craver.
Earl was born to Mabel Mae and Fred Frances Craver on June 14, 1931.
In his Celebration of Life he leaves behind his beloved wife of over 52 years, Billie, and their four fabulous children, Lilette and her husband Jack Hudgins of Ball Ground, Ga., Renee Craver of Oroville, Dain Craver and his wife Gari Lynn of Royal City, Denise and her Husband Tracy Jacob of Haleiwa, Hawaii. He was blessed with 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Earl is the middle child of six. His sister Lorraina and Jack Guyman of Oklahoma. His brother Athol and Jan Craver of Denver, Colo. His sister Grace Sleeper of Elkhart, Kan. He is preceded in death by his oldest brother Donald Craver, his youngest sister Martha Craver, his parents Fred and Mabel Craver and his beloved granddaughter Shannon Joy Craver.
Earl grew up and graduated from Elkhart, Kan. high school. He attended Wichita State University on a football scholarship, and then later joined the Marines an expert marksman. He was honorably discharged with a Purple Heart as a corporal.
Shortly after he married and started his family. He took a position with the Los Angles Police Department as an active motors officer for 16 years.
EC later pursued a successful acting career, served as a body guard, and became a proud author, publishing "Last Reunion."
We send a fond farewell to one of the greatest men to ever walk this earth.
And one of the biggest Royal Knight football fans.
His strength will forever live within his family.
