David Rondo Scott, 39, of Pasco, died Thursday at his home.

David was born on March 12, 1965, in San Diego, CA to Rondo and Margaret Reid Scott. They moved to Othello, Washington in 1976 where in 1983 David graduated from Othello High School. David attended Spokane Community College earning an AA degree in Diesel Mechanics. After college he married his high school sweetheart Carol Gonzalez on August 10, 1985. They moved to Pasco where David went to work for Campbell and Co. as an HVAC Commercial Sales representative. A job he held until the time of his death.

David enjoyed the outdoors, especially when he was fishing, didn't matter whether it was for sturgeon, salmon, trout or bass, David was happy when he had a fishing pole in the water. He enjoyed motocross with his boys and was an avid NASCAR fan. He will be remembered for his big heart and though he was terribly shy he had a quick-witted wild and crazy personality when put to the test. To his family and friends David will always be remembered as a hard worker and a true friend. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Pasco.

David is survived by; his parents, Peggy and Rondo Scott of Moses lake, his grandparents Noel and Geneva Scott of Moses Lake; his wife Carol Scott of Pasco; 2 sons Derek Scott currently attending Carol College in Helena, MT and Cole Scott of Pasco; 2 sisters and brothers-in-law, Pamela and Jeff Mancheni of Spokane and Allison and Robert Mallance of Pasco.

David will be greatly missed.

A time of final visitation will be held at the Stevens Funeral Chapel in Othello on Sunday January 9, 2005 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. A rosary will be recited at 7:00. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan.10, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Othello with burial to follow at Bess Hampton Memorial Gardens.

Services are under the direction of Stevens Funeral Chapel in Othello.

The family has suggested memorial funds be sent to the Carol Scott Family Fund C/O Sterling Bank at 1204 N 20th, Pasco, WA 99301 or the Campbell and Co. 2828 Irving, Pasco for the continued education of David's sons. Memorials may be made through the funeral home.
