Charlotte Faye VanNess (Osborne)

| February 11, 2005 8:00 PM

Charlotte Faye VanNess (Osborne), longtime resident of George, passed away on Monday, Feb. 7 at her home after a short battle with cancer.

She was born Aug. 25, 1941 at Prairie City, Ore. to the late Elmer and Iva Osborne. She enjoyed being on the farm that her husband Jerry started from the ground up!

She spent years collecting antiques and refinishing furniture. She had a passion for gardening, her horses, her cats and dogs. But her biggest passion was her 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She is survived by her husband Jerry and four daughters: Raelene Munoz (Ramiro) of Moses Lake, Kay Laffranchi (Lanny) of Soap Lake, Betty Reilly (Lou) of Moses Lake, Cheryl Moe (Danny) of Moses Lake; sons Jeff VanNess (Kathy) of Moses Lake and Jay VanNess (Karyll) of Moses Lake; two sisters, Anita Noel (Ray) of Moses Lake and Verna Franklen (Spencer) of Hillsboro, Ore.; two brothers, Bert Osborn of Oregon City, Ore. and Jerry Osborne (Annette) of White Salmon, Ore.

A celebration of her life will be held at George Community Hall in George at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 12 for all family and friends.

We will miss her zest and strength she had for life.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Habitat for Humanity in her name.
