Chiefs advance at Northwest Duals

BEAVERTON, Ore. — Moses Lake swept the first day of competition at the Northwest Duals Tournament in Beaverton, Ore.

The Chiefs wrestled Tualatin in their first dual and won 68-3. They won their second dual against Neah Kah Nie 66-15. Moses Lake also defeated Rainier 61-12 in their third dual of the day.

After sweeping their pool, the Chiefs wrestled Liberty, a two-seed from a different pool. Moses Lake won that dual 62-9.

Today, the Chiefs will wrestle one- and two-seeds from other pools in the tournament.

"We're doing well," said assistant coach Jim Nielsen. "Depending on how we do in the morning, we'll wrestle to win or for third."
