Lyle Warren

Lyle Warren, 64, passed away on Dece. 20, 2005 in Scottsdale, Ariz.

His wife of 36 years, Sandy Warren; his daughter Tracy Warren of Lexington, Ky.; his son Michael Warren, of Dayton, Ohio; and his granddaughter Veronica Warren of Middletown, Ohio survive him. Also surviving is his sister, Marilyn Braught of Normal, Ill. Preceding him in death were his parents, Lyle and Betty Warren of Spearfish, S.D.

Lyle was to retire from ATMI, Phoenix in the spring of 2006. He started his career as a metallurgist at Armco and retired from AK Steel in 1992 where he had been Middletown Works Manager. After his AK employment, he had been President and CEO of several companies: Crysteco in Wilmington, Ohio, ASiMI in Moses Lake and Arkansas Steel, Newport, Ariz.

Lyle grew up in the Black Hills of South Dakota and graduated from South Dakota School of Mines in 1964. In 1968, he earned his MBA from Xavier University in Cincinnati. His favorite hobby was hunting pheasants in South Dakota. This was an activity he participated in every October, for over 25 years, with his friends from Middletown. He and Sandy also loved traveling and photography with many trips in the western U.S., Hawaii and Alaska.

His faith in God and his family and friends were the most important things in his life.
