NOTICE OF INDUSTRIAL WASTE DISCHARGE PERMIT APPLICATION AND PROPOSED PERMIT
NO. ST 5338
TAKE NOTICE:
The Lenroc Company located at 16501 Railroad Street NW, Ephrata, Washington, has applied for a renewal of their State Waste Discharge Permit No. ST 5338 according to the provisions of Chapter 90.48 RCW and Chapter 173-216 WAC. The Permit will allow discharge of process wastewater to land via spray irrigation from its industrial facility.
Interested agencies, organizations or persons desiring to express their views or to be notified of the Department's action on this application and subsequent Permit should notify, in writing, the Water Quality Section, Permit Coordinator, Department of Ecology, Eastern Regional Office, 4601 N. Monroe St., Spokane, WA 99205, of their interest within thirty (30) days of the last date of publication of this notice. Publication dates of this notice are December 14 and December 21, 2005.
Any interested party may request a public hearing on the proposed permit within thirty (30) days of the publication date on this notice. The request for a hearing shall state the interest of the party and the reasons why a hearing is necessary. The request should be sent to the above address. The Department will hold a hearing if it determines that there is a significant public interest. If a hearing is to be held, public notice will be published at least thirty (30) days in advance of the hearing date. In addition, any party responding to this notice with comments will be mailed a copy of a hearing public notice.
The application, fact sheet, proposed permit and other related documents are available at the Departments' Eastern Regional Office for inspection and copying between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. weekdays. Copies may be obtained at a charge of 15 cents per copy sheet.
