Max William Elder

Max William Elder, 48, lifelong Moses Lake resident, went to be with our Lord on Dec. 11, 2005, at his home. He was born in 1957 to Clifford and Jennie (Peggy) Elder. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Cindy; daughters Meghan and Jennie; granddaughter, Mickhaley; sisters Betty Jean Cech (husband Tony) and Jennifer Finke; and brother, Tom Elder (wife Sandra); extended family and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Frank Elder. He worked for CHS (Cenex) since 1978. Max enjoyed spending time with his family and was very active in the First Presbyterian Church.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 15 at the Moses Lake First Presbyterian Church with Pastor Eric Frey officiating. Arrangements are in care of Kayser's Chapel & Crematory, Moses Lake. Viewing will take place at Kayser's Chapel of Memories Wednesday, Dec. 14, 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. and Thursday 8 a.m. until 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to First Presbyterian Church of Moses Lake; Tall Timber Presbyterian Church Camp, or Cancer Care Northwest Foundation, 601 S. Sherman, Spokane, WA 99202.
