MOSES LAKE — A woman reported $9,000 in cash and jewelry was stolen from her home at 168 Carswell Drive early this morning in a home invasion.

Isabel Herrera called police at 7 a.m. Tuesday to report that two white males had broken into her home, threatened her and stole $6,000 in jewelry and $3,000 in cash.

Herrera reported that the men first broke into her home at 4 a.m. and allegedly threatened to kill her while asking for money.

"The day before she had acquired $3,000," said Grant County Sheriff Chief Deputy John Turley.

According to Herrera, the men left and then returned at 6 a.m. when they stole the jewelry and cash.

Herrera sells jewelry for a living and told authorities the cash was given to her by her boyfriend to be used for a house payment.

Herrera described the men as in being in their mid-twenties, both between 5-foot-5 and 5-foot-8 inches tall and both with shaved heads. One of the men is heavyset with a tattoo on his left arm. The other has a medium build and a tattoo on the back of his head.
