Steven Allen Haworth

Steven Allen Haworth, 55, San Diego, Calif. resident, and former longtime Warden resident, passed away Sunday in Bingen, Wash.

Graveside services with full military honors will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Warden with the United States Navy Honor Guard Team officiating.

Arrangements are in care of Kayser's Chapel & Crematory, Moses Lake.

The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Friday from 5 to 7 p.m.

Steven was born August 22, 1949 in Spokane, Wash. to Dwight Blake & Mary Kathryn (Montgomery) Haworth.

In 1961 he moved with his family to Warden where he was raised and educated, graduating from Warden High School in 1967. He graduated from WSU in 1971 with a BA in communications.

He married Ha Nguyen on September 4, 1993 in San Diego, CA.

Following his honorable discharge and retirement from the United States Navy in October of 2000, he continued working for Balboa Hospital in San Diego.

He enjoyed fishing, the outdoors and activities involving his family.

Survivors include his wife, Ha Haworth of San Diego; daughters, Amber Haworth of Moses Lake, Michelle Scott of San Diego and Kim Alexander of Sonora, Calif.; a son, Dave Johnson of Manteca, Calif.; parents, Blake & Mary Haworth of Moses Lake; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Norm & Darla of Warden and Russ & Jan of Anchorage, Alaska; nephews, Troy & Kathy Haworth of Moses Lake and Cliff Haworth of Warden along with great-nephews, Huntre and Holden Haworth.

He was preceded in death by Pearl Montgomery, Al & Louise Haworth.
