Clarice's life was tragically cut short Aug. 11 due to complications that are still unknown at this time.

She was born in Moses Lake to Sheryl Butler and Rigoberto Salazar.

Clarice was raised and went to school in Warden, where she currently lived with her husband Lupe Valencia and her 9-year-old daughter Savanah and her 4-year-old son Damon.

Clarice loved her family and her children very much. She was loved by everyone and enjoyed hanging out with her friends and family.

Clarice was always the first one to throw a barbecue, host a party, update you on the current fashions and tease you about everything. She was a really fun person to be around and brought a lot of joy to all those lucky enough to meet her.

She loved to go shopping with her friends, and especially with her daughter Savanah.

Clarice was currently working as a childcare provider and was loved by the children very much. Clarice attended the Seventh Day Adventist Church with her family in Othello where she was also recently baptized.

Clarice was preceded in death by her best friend and uncle, Brent J. Butler and her grandfather, Harold "Shorty" Butler.

Clarice is survived by her husband, Lupe Valencia; her daughter, Savanah Butler; son, Damon Valencia; her mother, Sheryl Butler; father, Rigoberto Salazar; grandmothers, Sue Butler and grandma Salazar; her brother Aaron and wife Marisol; niece Amya; brother Adrian; and sisters Porsha and Shyann. Father-in-law, Emiliano Valencia, Jr.; mother-in-law Maria Chipres; step-father-in-law Miquel Rodriquez; brother-in-laws, Custodio and wife Cecilia Valencia; Emiliano, Jr., wife Letty Valencia; Jesse and wife Lisa Valenica. Sister-in-laws, Aurora Pimentel and Eulalio Chavez; and Ivette Rodriquez. Aunts and Uncles: Ernie and wife Terry Butler; Randy and wife Lori Butler; Steve and wife Anita Butler; Troy and wife Kim Butler; Jason and wife Charity Butler; Adam and wife Kathy Butler; Raul Salazar; Santos Velez; Ruben Salazar; Virginia Romos; Rosalinda and David Cantu; Ramior Salazar; Mary Valdez Rodolfo and Teresa Salazar; Rafael and Yolanda Salazar; Rene and Sherry Salazar; Rosahilda Salazar; Rosidila Salazar and Kathy Raush. Clarice was a very important part of our lives and will be missed more than words can say! We love you Clarice!
