NOTICE OF CALL FOR PROPOSALS

ADAMS COUNTY Will accept sealed proposals for PUBLIC DEFENDER SERVICES at the Office of the Board of County Commissioners, 210 W. Broadway, Room 202, Ritzville, Washington, until 2:00 p.m. on Friday September 9, 2005. Bids received will be publicly opened on Monday, September 12, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. during regular proceedings of the Board.

Proposals should be for a minimum of two (2) years maximum of four (4) years. Terms should be clearly specified regarding compensation, specific services that would be provided, services that require compensation over and above normal contract terms, special expenses, exceptions, handling of conflicts of interest, and parties to the contract.

Standards for the Delivery of Public Defense Services as adopted under Adams County Resolution No. R-78-90 are applicable to all bidders.

The Board of Adams County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities or irregularities in the bids or the bidding, if the best interest of Adams County will be served, or to accept the bid, which in their opinion best serves the interest of Adams County.
