The Moses Lake School District No. 161 is soliciting respondents for the 2005-2006 school year Small Works Roster, which will consist of all responsible contractors who have requested to be on the list and are properly licensed & registered to perform such work in the State of Washington. The District may award purchase orders and solicit quotes for services from listed contractors prior to and/or in place of other advertising and bidding processes.

The services requested include, but are not limited to off site fabrication of nonstandard items, production and delivery of crushed rock, concrete, & asphalt, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, fencing, cleaning, excavation, mechanical work, and all other Public Work per WAC 296-127.

Any party wishing to do business with the Moses Lake School District will not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, or handicap; in accordance with Title VI of the 1964 Civil Rights Act; Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, July 26th, 1990 P.L. 101-336, and Title IXI RCW 28A.640 of the Education Amendments of 1972, as amended.

Respondents are required to have all applicable city/state licenses, have adequate bonding capability and a minimum of three verifiable references. All contractors and subcontractors will be required to submit a "Statement of Intent to Pay Prevailing Wages" and, if applicable, an "Affidavit of Wages Paid " per RCW 39.12.040. Previous respondents must re-apply this year.

Respondents may submit letter of interest including business license & reference information by mail or fax to Moses Lake School District No. 161, Maintenance Shop/Bldg 2801, 6731 22nd Avenue NE, Moses Lake, Washington 98837 / 509-766-2683 Fax 766-2684 by 3 p.m. August 31st, 2005.
