John A. Bryant

John A. Bryant, 46, of Ephrata passed away Saturday at SunBridge Care and Rehabilitation in Moses Lake.

He was born July 11, 1959 to John A. and Margaret (Boyles) Bryant at Fort Lewis, Wash.

John moved to Ephrata as a young boy where he attended school. He completed his GED through Big Bend Community College in Moses Lake. He worked as a mechanic following the construction through the western states until his health forced him to retire in 1999. He continued to work on, and restore, old cars.

John was a member of the Ephrata Eagles #3338.

He is survived by his companion, Janice Drake of Ephrata; his children: Christopher Bryant of Kent, Wash.; Ajonna Bryant of Sulton, Wash.; Heidi Carrillo of Sea Tac, Wash.; and Robert Drake of Auburn, Wash.; his sisters: Rebecca (Mike) Banes of Germany and Cynthia Bleily of Gold Bar, Wash.; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside inurnment services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Cashmere City Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Richard Coghill. Scharbach's Columbia Funeral Chapel in Quincy is assisting with arrangements.
