Robert J. Osborn
Robert, or Bob as friends and family knew him, passed away Sunday in Wenatchee, Wash. following a motor vehicle accident.
He was born Sept. 21, 1943 in Portland, Ore. to Glen and Lois Osborn.
Bob spent the majority of his childhood in and around Moses Lake where he graduated from high school in 1961.
Bob was a jack-of-all-trades and had many experiences in life including farming, mechanical work, truck driving and well drilling.
He especially loved the older cable tool style of drilling and was well recognized by his peers for his skill in this type of work.
Bob was a complex man with lots of character and quick wit. He had many hobbies, including: taking care of his horses, reading and playing guitar. Most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Bob will be missed by those who loved him.
He is survived by his wife, Donna, at the home and their children: Keith Hewlett of Spokane, Wash.; Joey Hewlett of Blackfoot, Idaho; Gina Osborn of Moses Lake; Bobbie Jo Osborn of Bellingham, Wash.; 12 grandchildren; his mother, Lois Osborn of Moses Lake; his brother, Charles Osborn of Moses Lake and his sister, May Waltman of Lake Quinault, Wash.
Donna, his wife, will host a potluck gathering at her home, 2235 Road 4 N.E., Moses Lake on Thursday from 2 to 3 p.m. to celebrate his life.
