Andrew Vasquez, Sr.

Andrew Vasquez, Sr. passed away at his home on July 29, 2005 in the presence of family. He was born June 28, 1940 in Bryan, Texas. to Sotero Vasquez and Aurelia Gomez. He was the eldest of five.

He married Lupe Rivera on Oct. 5, 1958. They made their home in Moses Lake in 1958 and raised seven children.

Andrew enjoyed spending time with family and friends and singing to his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by: daughter Mary Jane Vasquez, mother Aurelia Vasquez, father Sotero Vasquez, and sister Hermilinda Lopez.

He is survived by wife Lupe (Rivera) Vasquez, Arturo and Sheryl Vasquez, Eddie Vasquez, Ramon and Lovey Vasquez, Andrew Vasquez, Jr. and Cynthia, Lupe and Jaimee Vasquez, Mary Jane Vasquez and Brad, 16 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren. Brothers and sisters; Josie Barrientoz, Juan Vasquez, Ramon Vasquez, Tommie Garcia and numerous family members.

He is very loved and will be greatly missed. "Take it easy!"

A Mass of Celebration will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2005 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Moses Lake.

Viewing will be held from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Tuesday at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Arrangements are in care of Kayser's Chapel and Crematory, Moses Lake.
