Moses Lake matched up against Southridge on Tuesday and won 6 of the 7 matches. In singles Robert Glaeser defeated Nick Ashijan (6-4, 6-4). Patrick Anderson won over Chad Williams (6-1, 6-0). Ben Nye beat Ben Frisk (6-1, 6-1). Tony Holiday defeated Patric Titus (6-0, 6-0).

The doubles team of Leary/Warner defeated Sailsbury/White (7-6, 6-4) and Hansen/Juarez won over Hankel/Tan (6-1, 6-2).

The lone loss for the Chiefs came in the second doubles match when Johnson/Sawyer were defeated by Aagaard/Grow (2-6, 2-6).

It was a tough night for the Wahluke boys tennis team Tuesday. Alejandro Castano lost to Stefan Den Breejen (0-6, 0-6) and Kris Morgan was defeated by Michael Shelton (0-6, 0-6).

In boys doubles it was to be more of the same. Barajas/Ortiz lost to Gordon/Rucker (1-6, 3-6), Stout/Andrade were defeated by Scrimsher/Henderson (7-5, 4-6, 2-6) and Columbia-Burbank won the third match by forfeit.

The Lady Warriors had a great night, winning 4 of 5 matches. Justine Gallacci defeated Paige Neuenschwander (6-3, 6-0) and Dalila Jimenez won over Holly Bonocini (6-1, 6-2).

In girls doubles Poch/Lopez defeated Wilhelm/Manzik (3-6, 6-3, 6-1) and Ornelas/Zabylski won by forfeit. The one girls loss was Diaz/Cochran and they lost to Perez/Hall (4-6, 1-6).

Ephrata's start against Brewster had all the makings of a win — one-on-one breakaways with the keeper and rebounds in the goal box to a wide open goal — but the Tigers came up empty handed as Brewster pulled off a 4-0 win.

Darci Saraceto scored the first Brewster goal in the 28th minute, followed by Juan Hernandez in the 49th. Phillipe Sanchez scored in the 69th and Brewsters Francisco Reyes scored the final goal of the game.

Ephrata's Matt Barr came up with seven saves in the loss.

The Tigers' losing streak extended to five games, the longest in the program's history.
