Violet Rain Paul

Violet Rain Paul was born in Wenatchee to her loving parents Clarice Mathias and Lightening Paul, and proud big brother Sterling. She lived in Ephrata her whole short life. She was born on December 1, 2004 and was called back to the Creator on April 10, 2005. She will always be remembered by her family as being a happy little child who smiled a lot and thoroughly enjoyed hugs, kisses and life. Dressing services will be held in Yakima at the Shaw and Sons Mortuary, Tuesday at 10 o'clock in the morning. She will be moved to White Swan to resume traditional Native American prayer ceremony.

Preceding her in death are her great-grandparents: Wally Paul, Ollie Miller, Delores and Rex Buck, Sr., Frank and Margaret Buck, Morris Miller Sr., Gus George, Ida Billy, Bessie Williams and Paul Mathias.

Her surviving great-grandparents are: Joe and Juanita Miller, Eleanor Bill and Saunders George, Clarence Umtuch, Marie Paul and Floyd Williams.

Her surviving grandparents are: Christopher and Jennifer Paul, Eliza Buck, Virgil Mathias, Byron and Wendy Lloyd, Ray and Wanda Paul, Steve Lloyd, Harvey Paul, Beatrice and Nelson Kahama, Cynthia and Phillip Powderface, Patsy Paul, Dewey and Sugar Miller, Lowell and Wynona Miller, Harold and Selena Miller, Karen and Richard Marek, Veronica and Custer Wahlulatum, Pamela Miller, Rex and Angela Buck, Richard Buck, Lenora Seelatsee, Melvin and ReaMona Lucei, Rachel Buck, Reuben and Phyllis Mathias, Cheryl Mathias and Wayne Lefthand, Edmond "Bud" Mathias and Paula Plummer, Naida Lefthand, Gary Mathias and Tom and Dixie Williams.

She has many other aunts, uncles and cousins residing in the Wanapum Village area, Yakima Valley area, Washington coastal area, Montana and Oregon.
