NOTICE OF APPLICATION

Notice is hereby given that the Grant County Planning Department has received and found the following land use application to be technically complete as of April 11, 2005 and ready for processing, public review and comment. A Minor Zone Change for parcels totaling ~110-acres zoned Rural General Commercial, with a Comprehensive Plan Land Use Designation of Urban Commercial. The applicant is seeking a zone change to Urban Commercial 2. This zone change will make the zoning consistent with the Comprehensive Plan Land Use Designation. The subject property is located East of Rd L NE and North of North Frontage Rd and is within a portion of Section 31, Township 19 N., Range 29 E., W.M., Grant County WA. The above land use application is scheduled for consideration before the Grant County Planning Commission at an open record public hearing at 7 p.m. on May 4, 2005 in the Commissioner's Hearing Room in the Grant County Courthouse. Copies of the application materials (File # 05-4058) in the above proposed land use action are available from the Grant County Planning Dept., 32 C St. NW, PO Box 37, Ephrata, WA 98823, (509) 754-2011 Extension 623. Comments on the zone change may be submitted no later than 5p.m. April 27, 2005 at the above address. All comments should be as specific as possible and may be mailed, personally delivered or sent by facsimile. Any person has the right to comment, receive notice, participate in any hearings, request a copy of the final decision, and appeal the decision as provided by law.
