NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND
DETERMINATION OF NONSIGNIFICANCE
AND ADOPTION OF EXISTING
ENVIRONMENTAL DOCUMENTATION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Grant County Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing in accordance with Chapter 25.12 of the Grant County Unified Development Code to consider proposed amendments to the Grant County Comprehensive Plan submitted in accordance with the criteria listed in the Unified Development Code adopted in October , 2000, and in accordance with State Law RCW 36.70A.
NOTICE IS ALSO GIVEN, that the Grant County Planning Commission will consider review of the State Environmental Policy Act SEPA addendum to the September, 1999 Final Environmental Impact Statement as adopted and prepared in accordance with the State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) RCW 43.21.C
DESCRIPTION OF CURRENT PROPOSAL:
A non-project proposal to consider the adoption of amendments to the Grant County 1999 GMA Comprehensive Plan. Proposed amendments considered for adoption include site-specific land use designation changes, changes to Figure 5-5, Future Land use Map; and amendments to the Urban Growth Area boundaries of Moses Lake, Soap Lake, Coulee City, and Quincy; The proposed amendments specifically include proposals submitted by the following and will be heard commencing on Wednesday, April 27. 2005 at 7:00 p.m. in the Grant County Commissioners Hearing Room on the second floor of the Grant County Courthouse in Ephrata, Washington, at which time any person may appear and be heard either for or against the approval of the proposed amendments to be considered at the public hearing.
