Drex L. Wold

Drex L. Wold passed away March 30 at the age of 55 at his home in Auburn, Wash.

Born in Idaho Falls, Idaho on January 19, 1950 to Olean and Birdel Wold. He graduated from Moses Lake High School in 1968 and attended college in Yakima.

Drex worked in farming and driving truck. He met Frances and married her April 13, 1988. The following year they moved to Federal Way where he found a job as grounds manager at a Senior Mobile home park. In 1995 he got his favorite job as a bus driver for King County Metro.

Some of his joys were playing card games, rooting for the Mariners and Seahawks and fishing.

He loved living around the trees most of all.

Drex is survived by his wife Frances Wold of Auburn, brother Larry Wold of Moses Lake, sister Jean Bergman of Sitka, daughter Michelle Loera of Warden, step children Kelly Boyle of Phoenix, Chet Smith of Portland, Leah Smith of Seattle and six grandchildren.

The celebration of his life will be held at the Best Western Lake Inn, formerly Hallmark, on April 16 from 1-3 p.m. All friends and family are welcome.
