Jacks lose 12-1 to Seattle Prep

Quincy played 5 innings against Seattle Prep before the score eclipsed the 10 run rule. The Jacks had 3 hits and 2 errors on a night when every ball seemed to find the glove of a Seattle Prep fielder. The pitching was closely regulated by umpires ensuring that strikes sailed only down the middle of the plate. Coach Pat McGuire said that today's game was the kind of game you hope to learn from. Quincy plays their first league game against Cascade on Saturday.
