Salina A. Rabideaux

Salina Adeline Rabideaux, 88, died Wednesday, September 22, 2004 at Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, Va. She had resided in Romney, WV with her daughter, Karensue, for the past 15 months.

Mrs. Rabideaux was born December 11, 1915 in Cut Bank, Mont. She was the daughter of the late Jessie and Annie Driesback Locke and was the last of her immediate family.

Mrs. Rabideaux was preceded in death by four brothers, Orwin, Marion, Merle and Niel Locke and two sisters, Myrtle Chandler and Pearl Tiffany.

She married Norman Edson Rabideaux on January 31, 1937. Norman passed away October 29, 1988.

Mrs. Rabideaux grew up in the Spokane, Wash. area and graduated from Lewis and Clark High School in 1934. She worked as a secretary for four years and as a nurse's aid at Deaconess Hospital until she went to work at Parkwood Manor in Spokane until she retired.

She moved to Moses Lake, Wash. and volunteered for a day care center. She lived in Moses Lake for 22 years.

Mrs. Rabideaux is survived by: one son, Robert Earl Rabideaux of Spokane Valley, Veradale, Wash.; two daughters, Karensue Terra Ware of Romney and Marjorie c. Carpenter of Des Moines, NM; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; seven step great-grandchildren; and eight great great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be announced at a later date.
