Berniece Conner

Berniece Elizabeth Shuman Conner died of heart failure on Monday, August 30, 2004 at Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake, Wash.

Berniece was born in San Jose, Calif., the daughter of William Roslyn Shuman and Eva Maria Lopes, on January 28, 1917.

She is survived by: two sons, Stanley James Conner of Elverta, Calif. and Russell Charles Conner of Lockford, Calif.; one daughter, Yvonne Darlene Ohlhausen of Moses Lake, who has been her mother's caregiver since 1996; and many adoring grandchildren and great-grandchildren who reside in California, Washington, Utah and Florida.

In 1998, Berniece became an active and very much loved Witness of Jehovah. She was always faithful to her dedication, and she loved her God Jehovah deeply.

Berniece always carried a warm smile and loving concern with her wherever she went and she readily gave of them to anyone she would meet.

Arrangements have been made for a memorial service to be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 4 at the local Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1610 West Lee Street, in Moses Lake.
