Lori Jean (Boyd) McFadden

Lori Jean (Boyd) McFadden, 38, longtime Moses Lake resident, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2004 at her home.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 10 am. Friday, September 3, 2004 at Pioneer Memorial Gardens with Pastor Dale Novasky officiating.

Arrangements are in care of Kayser's Chapel and Crematory, Moses Lake. Viewing will be at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.

Lori was born on December 1, 1965 in Medford, Ore. to Philo and Judy Boyd. She moved to Moses Lake with her family, where she was raised and educated. She became a nanny and moved to Connecticut and met her future husband, Rudy, and gave birth to their son, R.J.

They moved back to Moses Lake and Lori continued her education and received her AA degree from Big Bend Community College. Soon after graduating, she gave birth to their second child, Sydney Jean.

Lori was employed at Perkin's Restaurant in Moses Lake for several years, where she met several of her friends.

She is survived by: her children, R.J., 14, and Sydney, 10; her parents, Philo and Judy Boyd; brothers, Mike Boyd and LeRoy and his wife, Danae Boyd; niece, Chelsea and nephew, Hunter; all of Moses Lake; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, including her best friend, Barb and family.
