Ellen B. Olsen

Ellen B. Olsen, 90, Moses Lake, Wash. resident, passed away Monday, October 18, 2004 at Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake. Memorial services were held early Wednesday at Kayser's Chapel of Memories with Pastor Jody Bowser officiating.

Ellen was born February 4, 1914 to the late John and May (Cutlip) Krick in Pistol River, Ore. She was raised and educated in the Pistol River area.

She married Valdemar "Volley" Olsen in 1935 and they made their home in Cotati, Calif. for a short time before moving to Fortuna, Calif. They later moved to Medford, Ore., where Mr. Olsen passed away in 1985.

Ellen moved to Moses Lake in 1997. She enjoyed the outdoors and outdoor activities, including fishing and drives in the country. She also enjoyed crocheting.

Survivors include: two sons, Dale of Lake Oswego, Ore. and Ken of Moses Lake; two sisters, Elsie of Iowa and Lelah of California; and five grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
