Patricia Waslawski, 54, passed away at her home in Centralia, Wash. on Sunday, Nov. 21, 2004.

Born into an Air Force family in Breeze, Illinois, she traveled to different bases in Alaska, Wyoming, Texas, England, Mississippi and Washington.

Pat attended high school in Moses Lake and graduated from Columbus High School in Columbus, Mississippi. She attended the University of Washington and received a degree in environmental health from Central Washington University in 1980.

Pat loved to travel, and visited her family twice in Germany and also traveled twice to Greece. Her most memorable travel was to Medjugorje, Bosnia to view the apparitions of the Virgin Mary. Pat was an avid gardener and was famous for her jams made from berries grown in her yard.

Pat is survived by her son, Ryan, and loyal companions Sadie and Steel of Centralia, sisters Marge (Dennis) Hughes of Richland, Trudy (Matt) Black of Soap Lake, Nancy Cook of Moses Lake, and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents Richard and Hedwig Waslawski and special family friend Bertha Williams.

Memorial services will be held Dec. 11 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Centralia.
