Ian Dykes

On November 9, 2004, Ian Aubrey Dykes, of Royal City, Wash., went to his eternal rest.

Ian was born in Ephrata, Wash. on November 25, 1978 to Lisa and Jerry Salinas. Sadly, their marriage was short-lived. When Ian was only a few months old, a fine young man named Jim Dykes fell in love with both mother and baby and they were united in marriage on June 19, 1979.

Ian was raised and went to school in Royal City. He enjoyed playing soccer, baseball and basketball with his numerous friends and teammates.

Ian will always be remembered for his loving, kind and generous spirit and his loyalty and love to friends and family.

Survivors include: his mother, Lisa Morrow of Soap Lake, Wash.; his father, Jim Dykes and wife, Judy of Royal City; brother, James R. Dykes; sister, Amanda McMahan and husband, Josh of Royal City; Jerry Salinas of Royal City; paternal grandparents, Della Dykes and the late Loren Dykes and Anna Marie and Bob Salinas of Royal City; maternal grandparents, Herb and Erin Pederson of Ephrata; and dearly loved by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at the Nazarene Church in Royal City on Monday, November 15, 2004 at 10 a.m. with burial following at the Royal City Cemetery.

Memorials can be made to the Nazarene Church, Baptist Church or the Women of the Moose in Royal City.
