Moses Lake's Jayme Albrandt, Shalayne Hunter, Heather Coulter and Tracy Reed were named to the 2004 Big Nine all conference fastpitch team.

Albrandt was selected as an honorable mention at the shortstop position after finishing the regular season with a 91.9 percent fielding percentage.

Albrandt finished the season with a .358 batting average with the teams only home run. She led the Chiefs in runs (13), RBIs (12), triples (2) and hits (19).

Moses Lake prepares for its Big Nine district tournament opener on Thursday with Kennewick at Larson Field.

"It is a new season, we are starting completely over with a new slate," Moses Lake head coach Alan Coulter said.

The last time the two teams met, Moses Lake was going through one of its Spring wind storms that delayed the first game of a doubleheader.

The Chiefs swept the series 12-2 and 7-4 and Albrandt finished 4-for-8 in the doubleheader with a home run and five RBIs. But, Moses Lake ended the season by getting swept by Eastmont.

"We have put everything behind us," Coulter added. "We are taking it one game at a time."
