NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that BONNER COUNTY will accept sealed bids until 2:00 p.m. on Monday March 29, 2004 for:

THE RENOVATION, REMODEL AND EXPANSION

OF AN EXISTING SENIOR CITIZEN CENTER

Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, and shall be clearly labeled, "SEALED BID - BONNER COUNTY — 2004 SENIOR CENTER RENOVATION. Bids shall be submitted to Sandpoint Area Seniors, Inc., 820 Main Street, Sandpoint, Idaho 83864, by the time and date set forth above, and shall be opened and publicly read aloud at 2:00 p.m. on said date.

The SCOPE of the project includes the existing building and property at 820 Main Street, Sandpoint, ID. The work consists of EARTH WORK, CAST-IN-PLACE CONCRETE, CONCRETE CURING, TREATMENT, AND FINISHES, ROUGH CARPENTRY, FINISH CARPENTRY, GYPSUM WALLBOARD SYSTEMS, PAINTING, TOILETTE ROOM ACCESSORIES, RADIANT FLOOR HEATING SYSTEM, RESILIENT BASE, ROOF REPAIRS, INSTALL FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEM, PLUMBING AND ELECTRICAL WORK.

Copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained from Senior Citizen Center upon payment of $25.00 for each complete set. There will be no refund of the fee.

A pre-bid conference with the architect will be held Monday March 15 at 8 am at the Senior Center at 820 Main Street, Sandpoint.

Any objection to the contents or terms of the Specifications shall be raised five (5) days before Bids are to be opened or it shall be deemed to have been waived.

BONNER COUNTY reserves the right to waive informalities or to reject any or all bids.
