Gorge Amphitheatre donates to Boys & Girls Club

Donation funds club's technology program
This past week General Manager Bill Parson's presented a check to our local Boys & Girls Club's in support of youth development programs serving local youth. "This donation allows us to conduct outreach programs in Quincy and provides equipment in our technology program," said Deb Polito Larson Club director.
These funds are made possible through a surcharge placed on tickets at the Gorge; the funds are used to fund youth programs in the local area and throughout the region. Over the past five years the Gorge has donated over $90,000 to the local Boys & Girls Club.
"The Grant County Sheriff's and Grant County commissioners have been very supportive of our local club and our strong relationships have helped us (the club) receive these funds. This support helps our programs all across Grant & Adams County including Warden, Moses Lake, Quincy, and Othello," said Ryan Graves, executive director of the club.
"These funds are so vital to the success of the our programs, it provides about 50 percent of our Technology program. Over 110 kids per day participate in these programs and the GORGE support makes it possible," said Jenni Mickle, downtown club director. A great big thanks needs to go out to Frank DeTrolio, John Dazell, Leslie Gonzales, Leroy Allison, Dick Zimbleman, and Bill Gonzales for all they have done to ensure the club success.
The Boys & Girls Club is youth development agency serving over 6,100 youth k-18 years of age annually. The club is open from 1-5:30 Monday-Friday during the summer, and charges a yearly membership fee of $5. Our clubhouses are local at 4306 Arnold St. in Moses Lake, 116 1st St in Othello, the administration office is located at 410 West 3rd in Moses Lake, and over 13 other summer sites in Grant and Adams County.
