Marjory (Prentice) Hurmence

Marjory Hurmence passed away on May 26, 2004 at the Avalon Nursing Home in Othello, Wash. Mrs. Hurmence was born in Omaha, Neb. and was a

resident of Spokane, Wash. for 15 years. She moved to Grant County 18 years ago and resided in the Highland Estates area.

She was one of four siblings of a Presbyterian parish minister and spent her life in the service of others. She was a devoted military wife who experienced and appreciated other people and cultures. She was a devoted mother and grandmother.

Marjory enjoyed music, gardening, the outdoors and the company of her

family and friends.

Mrs. Hurmence is survived by: her loving companion, Robert Crow of 20 years who still resides in the Highland Estates area; her four children, Terri Stenson of Greenacres Wash., Marianne Dawson, Diana Senn and Julie Hurmence, all from Spokane, Wash.; and five grandchildren.

She was loved by all who knew her and will be deeply missed.
