Seventeen vie for Mrs. Washington

Mrs. Clark County wins pageant held in Moses Lake

"Arabian nights" was the theme of the Mrs. Washington America Pageant which was held Sunday, May 30, 2004 at the Moses Lake High School Theater. It was a packed house. The children from the Boys and Girls Club of Moses Lake were featured as carpet dancers, performing to the showstopper, "Prince Ale." There were 17 contestants from all over Washington State vying for the title of Mrs. Washington 2004.

Judges for finals night were Linda Bishop, Karol Burrell, Helen Bacon, Mrs. Washington America 2000 and Patricia Nuttbrock, Mrs. Oregon America 2003

Erin Ring, Mrs. Clark County, was crowned Mrs. Washington 2004. First runner-up was Kinberly Mallett, Mrs. Kirkland; second runner-up, Jennifer Adkisson, Mrs. Grays Harbor County; third runner-up, Cheryl Hoitink, Mrs. Snohomish; and fourth runner-up, Shama Albright, Mrs. King County.

Vicky Skane, Mrs. Moses Lake, received a community service award, as well as the award for most ticket sales.

Erin Ring will be flown to Palm Springs, Calif. to compete for the title of Mrs. America. It will be seen on PAX TV the first two weekends in October.

The 2005 Mrs. Washington Pageant will be held April 23, 2005 in Moses Lake.
