Rena Tintinger, general manager of the Flathead Publishing Group, a division of Hagadone Newspapers, has announced the appointment of Tracy Eastman as advertising manager of the Whitefish Pilot.

Eastman named ad manager of Whitefish Pilot

Eastman has been a Montana resident for 5 years. She graduated from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, with a Combined Honors Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociocultural Anthropology and Human Geography with a minor in Indigenous Studies. She brings important experience in photography and design aspects in advertising. Eastman has also been involved with the Web-publishing field and print management.

Since her inception in February of this year, Eastman has proven her capability as a manager and increased the productivity of this newspaper's advertising department. Her commitment is reflected by a strong work ethic and her ability to finish projects by deadline through to completion.

Eastman also brings along small business management and is the co-owner of Rocky Mountain Horsepower at Big Mountain Resort.

Dedicated to customer service and proactive in her planning and strategies, she is an asset to the Whitefish Pilot, Tintinger said.

The Whitefish Pilot recently celebrated its 100th year of publishing in the community and

remains an award-winning community newspaper with subscriptions to more than 4,250 homes.
