John Cravath

A celebration and memorial for the life of John Cravath will take place at 5 p.m. Saturday, July 31. He passed away last Sept. 14 in Phoenix, Ariz. He was a longtime resident of Whitefish and owned Kamp Karefree, a cabin resort on Whitefish Lake eventually replaced by Mountain Harbor.

John moved to Whitefish in 1957 with his wife and sons to take over the resort from Gerald Monnigan. He also taught school in Kalispell and made many friends throughout the years. Those who would like to attend are asked to RSVP to son, Jay, at 928-669-0290 or e-mail: kokopelli@crited.com
