Kathryn E. McNeil

Kathryn E. McNeil, age 83, died July 15, 2004 in Federal Way, Wash., two days before her 84th birthday. Kathryn was born July 17, 1920 in Benton City, Wash. to Forrest and Kate (Hatfield) Thomas.

Kathryn grew up in Ellensburg and lived there until 1954. She lived in Moses Lake and Enumclaw until 1995, when she moved to Federal Way.

She is survived by: a son, Jerry McNeil and wife, Debbie; and five grandchildren, Matthew, Benjamin and Rebecca McNeil, and Kelly and Kristy Richardson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George "Buck" McNeil in 1998, her parents, all of her siblings, and one son, Steven.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 20, 2004 with a viewing starting at 11:30 a.m. at Steward & Williams Tribute Center in Ellensburg. Burial will follow at the Thorp Cemetery.
