| July 13, 2004 9:00 PM

Edith Oline Golly left this world on July 10, 2004 to be with her beloved husband, John Edwin Golly, who passed away in October 2002.

Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, July 16, 2004 at Kayser's Chapel of Memories with Pastor Floyd Wilks officiating.

Arrangements are in care of Kayser's Chapel and Crematory, Moses Lake. Inurnment will take place at Pioneer Memorial Gardens.

Edith was born on October 4, 1922 in Bemidji, Minn. to Albert and Hilda (Janson) Johnson and was one of seven children. She met John in 1939 and they were married on March 20,1940.

They had three children, Geraldine Elaine, Johnny Jay and Jimmy Carl. Edith and John came from Bemidji, Minn. to Moses Lake in 1946. After John's death, she moved to Puyallup, Wash., to a care facility to be close to family members.

Edith and John had a fulfilling life, which included square dancing, snowmobiling and fishing. But both would boast their love of family above all. They had three children, 11 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Edith spent many years in the clothing business as a sales clerk and seamstress. She could, as they say, make a silk purse from a sow's ear. Her love of family and the great outdoors was known well to all who knew her.

In the autumn of her life, her loving daughter, Geraldine, cared for her. Her life on earth is complete and life in Heaven is beginning.
