Renee Burnett Earl
Renee Burnett Earl , 74, passed away Monday, July 5, 2004 at Samaritan Hospital. She was born in Ogden, Utah on January 1, 1930, the eldest child of Harvey Burnett and Martha Child.
Renee was raised on the family farm in Eden, Utah. Later, the family had three more children, one girl and two boys. In 1946, the family moved to Boise, Idaho and Renee graduated from high school there in 1948.
In 1948, she met Larry earl and they were married in 1949 in the LDS Idaho Falls Temple.
Larry and Renee had a dairy farm in Meridian, Idaho until they moved to Moses Lake, Wash. in 1955. By this time four children had been added to the family. Three more children came during their time in Moses Lake.
Renee worked a variety of jobs during those early years to help support the family. Most of her work time was spent at Samaritan Hospital and Carnation Potato.
Renee was active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints all of her life. She served in a variety of positions, including Primary, Young Women and Relief Society president. She also served as a teacher, Cub Scout leader and visiting teacher. Larry and Renee served two full time church missions together, first in the Philippines and second in Pennsylvania.
Renee was preceded in death by both parents and younger brother, Lyle.
She is survived by: her husband, Larry of Moses Lake; brother, DeMar of Meridian; sister, Beverly of Bountiful, Utah; her children, Wayne of Caldwell, Idaho, Connie of San Lendro, Calif., Glen of Los Angeles, Calif., Steven of Victorville, Calif., Jerald of Vancouver, Wash., Gary of Port Orchard, Wash. and Kevin Earl of Moses Lake; 21 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the LDS Chapel on Grape Drive at 10 a.m. on Thursday, July 8, 2004. Friends may call on the family in the Relief Society Room from 9:30 to 10 a.m.
Interment will follow at Pioneer Memorial Gardens.
