Adolph (Abe) B. Elde

Adolph (Abe) B. Elde, 91 years of age, passed away December 23, 2004 at Lakeridge Care Center in Moses Lake, Wash. He was born in Montana on March 12, 1913 to Sivert and Elida Elde.

He spent his growing years in Winnett, Mont. and married Dorothy Morgan on March 10, 1934. Abe farmed in Grass Range, Mont. for a couple of years, but carpentry was his occupation the rest of his working days.

Through the years, they lived in several places in Montana, Anacortes, Wash., Cody, Wy., Heppner, Ore., and Post Falls, Idaho, before settling in Moses Lake in 1955.

Abe enjoyed gardening and his carpentry work. He also enjoyed traveling. His faith in God meant much to him through the years.

He is survived by: four daughters, Florence Mackenzie of Soap Lake, Wash., Lillian and Garry Robinson of Spokane, Wash., Virginia and Fred Patchell of Bothell, Wash. and Beverly Pier of Moses Lake; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; a brother, Monad Elde of Seattle; and two sisters, Esther Hansen of Chinook, Wash., and Evelyn Jossi of Portland, Ore.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy in 2000, his son, Russell in 1970, and sons-in-law, Frank Pier and John Mackenzie.

Funeral services will be held December 29, 2004 at 11 a.m. at Nicoles Funeral Home in Ephrata, Wash.
