Search still on for robbers of Royal City bank
ROYAL CITY — The bank robbed by two unknown men in Royal City last week is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to their arrest and conviction.
Two armed men walked into the Royal City US Bank Friday, demanding money from employees. According to the Royal City Police Department, the men fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash and were last seen running through a park just east of the bank. No customers were in the bank at the time of the robbery and none of the three employees present were injured in incident.
The robbery suspects have been identified as Hispanic males, between the ages of 16 and 20. Both are described as five feet, six inches tall a and weighing about 160 pounds. The suspects were fluent in English, and armed with handguns.
The RCPD's first suspect is described as wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, wearing a blue bandana over his face and armed with a blued revolver. The second suspect was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, brown jeans, a brown bandana over his face, and was armed with a stainless steel semi-automatic pistol.
