Four arrested in Quincy stabbing

Police suspect gang involvement

A stabbing incident in Quincy has left three people injured and four people arrested, a release from the Quincy Police Department indicates.

The release states that in the early hours of Saturday morning, 23-year-old Juan Quintero Morelos and 26-year-old Ignacio Quintero Morelos were stabbed with a knife on Quincy's First Avenue NE. A third person, 27-year-old Justo Rubio sustained facial injuries. All three are Quincy residents.

Ignacio Quintero was treated at the Quincy Valley Medical Center for multiple stab wounds and later released. Juan Quintero was airlifted to Central Washington Hospital with multiple stab wounds as well. Rubio was treated and released from Quincy Valley Medical Center.

A spokesperson from the QPD said that the investigation is ongoing, and that the crime may be gang-related.

Rubio was one of four people who have been arrested in connection with this incident. He was taken to Grant County Jail after treatment on charges of first-degree assault.

Also arrested were 24-year-old Juventino Rubio, of Quincy, on charges of first-degree assault; 19-year-old Julian Rubio and a 16-year-old boy in connection with this incident.
