Robert D. Parsons

Robert D. Parsons passed away Thursday, August 12, 2004. He was a longtime Moses Lake resident.

Arrangements are in care of Kayser's Chapel & Crematory, Moses Lake.

Robert D. Parsons was born in Spokane, Wash. on June 15, 1929 to Henry and Nettie Parsons. Robert "Bob" grew up in Spokane and Colville, Wash.

He married Mary E. Turner on November 25, 1950. They raised five children.

Bob worked for Wonder Bread Baking Co. for 32 years, and then semi-retired to drive Moses Lake School buses for five years. He was a charter member of the Elks Lodge and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a volunteer for the Fish and Wildlife Department and a volunteer firefighter.

Bob was a hunting and fishing enthusiast and he loved the outdoors his entire life. He always worked hard, enjoyed life and loved his family with a passion. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.

He is survived by: his wife, Mary; children, Robert T., Leslie (Rick), Janice (Dave), Wade (Rosemary); grandchildren, Angela, Jason, Ryan, Erin, Bradley, Stacey, Kari, Reina; and one great-grandchild, Brayden.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Jacque, and his son, Clinton "Buddy" Parsons.
