Marion Rosalie Bise

| August 11, 2004 9:00 PM

Marion Rosalie Bise was born on April 15, 1925 to John Matthew and Stella (Joshcovak) Bast in Casper, Wyo. and the only girl of seven children. She graduated from high school in 1940 in Hailey, Idaho.

Marion and Walter Bise were married on December 6, 1947 and enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting. Marion never enjoyed life more than when she was doing things with her son, Stan, and grandsons, Jim and Michael.

Marion and Walter ran the resort at Jamison Lake for many years, meeting many new friends. She enjoyed cooking in the restaurant there.

After moving to Moses Lake, Marion worked at Tri-State Outfitters and Payless/Rite-Aid Drug, from which she retired in 2000.

She is survived by: her son, Stan and his wife, Judy; grandsons, Jim (and Heather) and Michael (and Melanie); great-grandchildren, Alyssa and Braydan, all of the Moses Lake area; a brother, Frank Bast of Kettle Falls and Alberta (Nita) Ellingsworth of Spokane; many nieces and nephews; a sister-in-law, Audine Bise of Wilson Creek; and special friends, Pat and Frank Barber of Moses Lake and their dog, Samantha.

The Bise family is especially grateful to Marion's niece, Betty Lines of Spokane, who sent her a card nearly every day for the last four years, to the staff at SunBridge Care and Rehab for the outstanding care and love given to Marion, and to Benson Family Funeral Service for their assistance at her passing.

A graveside memorial service will be held at Pioneer Memorial Gardens, 14403 Rd 2 NE, Moses Lake at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 14, 2004. A fellowship will follow at the Bise home.
