Michael Larry Laugen

Michael Larry Laugen, 52, of Ephrata, passed away Saturday, July 31, 2004 in Moses Lake after a long battle with dementia.

He was born to Glen and Rose Laugen in Shelton on May 9, 1952.

He married his wife, Cheryl on February 16, 1974 and moved their family to Ephrata in 1982. There he worked for Central Washington Appraisals and later for Washington Mutual Bank as an appraiser, covering a good portion of central Washington.

Michael is survived by: his wife, Cheryl Laugen; a daughter, Melissa Olivas; a son, Jason Laugen; three grandchildren, Tatum and Triniti Olivas and Tyson Laugen; his mother, Rose Townsend of Kirkland; and a sister, Judy Rodriguez of Seattle.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Jon Laugen.

The family would like to invite all who knew Mike to a memorial service to be held at 11 a.m. Friday, August 6, 2004 at the First Presbyterian Church in Ephrata.
