Clara Gordon

Clara Gordon, 80, Moses Lake resident, passed away on Thursday, July 29, 2004 at Samaritan Hospital.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, August 2, 2004 at Kayser's Chapel of Memories. Interment will follow at Pioneer Memorial Gardens.

Arrangements are in care of Kayser's Chapel and Crematory, Moses Lake.

Clara was born on December 22, 1923 in Fairmont, WV, daughter of the late Solomon and Fannie (Brown) Jones. She loved her family, friends, church and gardening.

She is survived by: her husband, Leon Gordon; children, Shirley Washington of Moses Lake, Wash., Earl Claiborne, Dorothy Claiborne, Phyllis Hayes, all of California, and Charlie Claiborne, Jr. of Kent, Wash.; one sister, Lillian Jones of California; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; five stepchildren; and step-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
